The main issues facing APLA are the
Proposed DEC conservation parks, Lodgement anywhere, the Miner's Right issue and
the lack of a Native Title Heritage Agreement to cover non-corporate
prospectors.
These issues threaten the very existence of Prospecting in Western Australia.
This would significantly disadvantage the State of WA by removing the ability for any one of our citizens to prospect for mineral resources to the benefit of all Australians, and to prevent general prospecting activities would reduce exploration which is not in the industry or State interests.
